Early creation

Allah announced a successor on earth, created Adam, taught him the names and commanded the angels to prostrate.

Sequence

  1. 1Allah tells the angels He will place a successive authority on earth.
  2. 2Adam is created and taught the names of all things.
  3. 3Adam informs the angels of the names.
  4. 4The angels prostrate; Iblis refuses.
