Boasted that his wealth came from his own knowledge; the earth swallowed him and his home.

Given wisdom; his advice to his son is recorded in the Quran.

Established in the earth, travelled east and west, and built a barrier against Gog and Magog.

Warned his people against their transgression; he and his family were saved except his wife.
